Yanju – native Chinese speaker with 8 years of working experience

Hello!!
My name is Yanju.

I am a native Chinese speaker with 8 years of working experience as a Chinese language tutor in Central Europe. I’m really passionate about teaching and I’ve been teaching youth and adults under the different types of Chinese curriculum in both Confucius school and Chinese culture center in Slovakia. I hold a teacher qualification certificate and I always update my tutor materials through participating in teacher training sessions held by the Chinese Education Foundation.

With enriching experiences in teaching foreign students to learn Chinese for all levels, I always focus on combining knowledge with interaction and attracting the students’ interests in Chinese. I always tried my best to make fun classes with abundant tools and media to make students engaged in study.I’m familiar with multiple Chinese textbook systems and compose my teaching plan based on students’ needs.

I’m good at applying a variety of personalization teaching methods based on different requests and learning styles. I believe target learning is one of the most effective ways for language learning and I always set up tailored study plans and clear goals for our classes.

In addition to conversational Chinese lessons,I have plenty of experience in preparing and passing the HSK level 1-6 which is equal to Europe language standard A1-C2 and I‘ve conducted business Chinese training courses with Lenovo Ltd in Bratislava, Slovakia.

I spent my free time practicing my PIPA (a traditional Chinese instrument) and cooking. My friend and I were organizing a reading session and sharing options for different books.
