Hi!
My name is Sumire and I’ve been teaching Japanese since 2015. I have experience working with teenagers and adults of all levels, including people who need the language for their work or plan to have a career at a Japanese company. I’ve helped students prepare for job interviews, as well as exams needed to study at top universities in Japan.
I believe that patience goes a long way. I always try to create a welcoming and encouraging atmosphere during the lessons, in order to help students overcome their fears and shyness.
In addition to teaching, I’m also fond of music. I’m a professional violinist and I’ve studied music in Tokyo and Moscow. Over the years I’ve also worked as an interpreter and translator and sometimes as a guide.
