Hello everyone!
I am Athena and I’m from Greece. Since I was 6 years old, I’ve known what I wanted to do when I grow up: study Ancient Greek and teach it to people. I even remember teaching my dolls and teddy bears. I studied hard, and at the age of 18 I started teaching my first students. Now, in the age of 31, I am more than proud to have 13 years of teaching experience.
My Bachelor and my first Master of Arts in Classical Philology places me in a position to know and understand the structure of language, and to recognize mechanisms in each language, even if I don’t speak it. My Second Master of Arts in Teaching Greek as a Foreign Language enabled me to incorporate many techniques that make even the most difficult things easy!
Structure and fun, grammar and everyday speaking, syntax and games – that’s what you can expect from me. My lessons are full of challenges that will motivate you to do your best. I will be more than happy to take this language journey with you. After all, even my name indicates the Ancient Greek Goddess of Wisdom in mythology, so don’t lose any more time!
